LUCAS HUNTER

Miami-raised, Dominican-American singer/songwriter and producer Lucas Hunter is a multi-faceted and nationally acclaimed musician based in Miami, FL and New York, NY.

At an early age, Lucas began writing, recording and releasing his own music, teaching himself along the way. Since then, he has been recognized as a Finalist by the National YoungArts Foundation in the Voice - Singer/Songwriter category in 2022, and has gone to study production and engineering under Latin GRAMMY®-award-winning engineers Allan Leschhorn and Juan Cristobal “Mr Sonic” Losada. During his 2 years

studying at New York University, Lucas was Mr Sonic’s apprentice at The Sonic Room at Studio 126 at Amazon Music in Brooklyn, NY, and has since graduated from NYU with a degree in Music Technology, with various credits as a session guitarist, vocalist, recording engineer and assistant engineer.

Lucas recently released his debut studio album, “More to Life”, which he composed, arranged and engineered along with collaborations from GRAMMY®-award winning engineer Allan Leschhorn, Daniel Basilio-Fernandez (bass), Neil Ochoa (perc.), Danny Quin (asst. prod.) and Adam Ayan (mastering). The

album comes as the official debut for Lucas as a solo artist, showcasing award winning songs and his acclaimed production style. After years performing and writing these songs across Montréal and New York, they set the stage for his debut.

Along with the music, Lucas dedicated his time to building a narrative concept for MTL. Released as the album rollout, a series of videos (patchworks) promoted “More to Life” which, along with upcoming music videos, create a story of self-discovery, heartbreak, and redemption, showcasing Lucas’ unique vision and drive as an artist.
